UNC's future shaped by a native son

We all should be rooting for Dr. Holden Thorp, the new chancellor at UNC-Chapel Hill.  It’s an awesome job that he has, in taking the reins of the nation’s oldest public university.

Holden Thorp grew up in Fayetteville and graduated from Terry Sanford High School and UNC.  .... That’s where I think Holden Thorp brings an edge to the job. He knows North Carolina. He appreciates its mission, to be a leading undergraduate and research institution, and also to serve the greater good of the Tar Heel State.  Click here to read more.
